Ila Aulaadi

In Your Gracious Name I begin

O Allah In Your Glorious and Gracious Name I begin

I’m starting a new category. its called Ila Aulaadi. Literally and amateurishly translated it would mean; To My Children.

well ya. of course i dont have children of my own. just yet.

these are then, simple musings dedicated to my future children..

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

My Dearest Children,

This is a category i started a day after i turned 26. Hamdan lillah, Praise Be to Our Creator for prolonging my life up till this moment. I have had this plan in mind for quite some time, but well Qadr Allah says that i would be materializing the plan at this particular point in time.

So this is where I’ll be gathering and restoring all the precious points of Life Lessons that i have encountered, yes, musings on L i f e that i wanted to share and enlighten you with. and you shall read it all the moment you have develop literacy, supported by maturity of course, wink.. well by that time only Allah knows what techno gadget will crop up, huh.. and what will happen to your Mummy’s blog? Well lets pray together it remains protected to that day.

There’s a lot i want to tell you My Sweethearts,

See, that’s the trend taken up by most young Mommies that i know, their journals are writings dedicated to their beloved children to be read in the upcoming future.. the first that ever inspired me was Ummu Humaira’s, my strong-willed-hearted friend whom you shall call Aunty Mar.. and then there were other series that were of inspirations to me; Aunty Anfaal’s, Aunty Iman’s, AuntyHanis’s..among other inspirational ones there are out there

But i’ve had this thought & plan long before i came across these sites.. and while they write to their daughters and sons who are growing up amidst their presence..

i shall commence on my writings to you, even as you have not yet emerge into existence..

And with Allah’s Will

i shall meet you one day

either you are my own flesh and blood

or you are not, i shall be your guardian nevertheless,

i shall .. be .. your Mother.

Your very own.

The one sitting on my lap there is Yousra. she is the younger sister of my student Mubarak. i have a very memorable experience with her .. one that warms the heart.

Sweet memories @ Performance Day 08, with Yousra and Yousra's best friend

Sweet memories @ Performance Day 08, with Yousra and Yousra's best friend

This is the story

Once, in the early morn, as the inhabitants of Adni were bustling

around the blessed learning center, all heading towards

their respective destinations to start the day

i caught Mubarak and his sister Yousra at the main entrance of the building

stationed right infront of the door.

Mubarak was persuading.

Yousra looked immovable. sullen. and she was seated. stiffly

I approached them and enquired with the elder brother,

and Mubarak filled me in with the story..

” She doesn’t want to go to school, Teacher…”

Apparently the preschool blues got the best of our cute chubby preschooler

yup. she would not budge. even a millinch

Well that’s when your Mummy came to the rescue

hehe.. well i decided to give it a try

…so i lowered myself

i smiled and looked at her in the eyes..

and i asked her

“What’s wrong Yousra?”

I gave my best reassuring smiling eye

i took her hand gently and said

in cheerful mode

“C’mon Yousra let’s go.. i’ll take you there..”

She got up

and i sent her all the way to her class.

Hand in hand

Now this is Yousra's Mother who is also one of my Mommy-friends .. they came from Nideria

Now this is Yousra's Mother who is also one of my Mommy-friends .. they came from Nigeria

I have one more little girl i want to tell you about.. she’ll be a senior to you, Rumaysaa

Her name is Rania.. she’s the daughter of my dear friend in faith Habibah, yes most likely her Mum named her after the Princess Rania of Jordan. and i really like to observe her every move, you know why.. cause she behaves just like a princess! I even call her Princess! yes I certainly do.. lol. A very prim and proper toddler she is, Alhamdulillah

her mother raised her well.. i will have a lot to learn from Aunty Bibah, wont i ..

There was a time,

at the monthly enlightening gathering of ours

in a living room

she was seated on the house sofa with her Mum

i came by and sat near them

She was trying to put her stockings on

Or rather her Mother was trying to do it for her,

Lol

I sat down, quite close to her

and didn’t realize i was sitting on the end of her long pink stocking

and she winced

And spontaneously i exclaimed;

“Uh. i’m sorry i sat on your royal stocking..”

:D

Princess Rania of Malaysia

Princess Rania of Malaysia

well my last words for this first post,

i shall wait for the day when it will be

you

sitting on my lap, My Dear Rumaysaa.

with Allah’s Will

i have the patience to wait..and i shall anticipate.

Amiin.

26th

Bismillahirrahmaanirraheem

So..inshaAllah sekiranya diizinkan Allah, diperpanjangkan hayaah, i shall be turning

number 26

this 26th June

:) TabarakAllah indeed, what a special year this is..

i mean the specialty and significant concurrences of the numbers .. :)

Ya Allah .. tua dah aku nih

But i do wonder if i will make it to that day… and the solemn truth is ..we wonder if we would even make it to the next millisecond, do we not..

From the deepest seat of sincerity my heart could bear,I would like to take this blessed opportunity to seek from all my

f r i e n d s

and

students

alike,

near and far,

known and unknown

of the best gift ever;

the gift of  forgiveness

over all the errors that i have committed towards you out of my weaknesses..

please forgive me

seeking with ikhlaas,

rahimah
